SNACK is a program of the Western Oregon Center for Pediatric Therapeutic Lifestyle Change (WOC).
Our board of directors includes community members and representatives from organizations and institutions around Yamhill County including Physicians’ Medical Center, Yamhill County Health and Human Services, and Linfield College.
William Koenig, DO

President and Co-Founder

Bill Koenig is a co-founder of the SNACK Program. He is a board certified pediatrician at Physicians’ Medical Center in McMinnville, OR. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medicine in Rochester, MN. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Oregon Medical Association.

Janet Peterson, DrPH

Janet is the vice president and co-founder of the SNACK program. Janet is active with the SNACK program and can often be found exercising or cooking alongside the kids and student interns.
Janet is a registered dietitian and clinical exercise physiologist. She is a professor of health and human performance at Linfield College and the departmental internship coordinator. When she is not teaching or helping out with the SNACK program, Janet enjoys being physically active outdoors, writing fiction and playing in the kitchen.
Carmen Mendenhall

Carmen serves as the current treasurer. She also works as the account manager for the Physicians' Medical Center.
Stephanie Arciga, BS, QMHA

BS in Health Education, Linfield College
Stephanie Arciga was born and raised in McMinnville, OR. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Linfield College, she was a SNACK Program Intern. She is currently working with Yamhill County Health and Human Services as a Qualified Mental Health Associate and Behavior Consultant.
Stephanie is passionate about working with the Latino Community. She is professionally driven and dedicated to reaching out to targeted communities and being a resource for people of all backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors, listening to music, coloring, reading, and exercising.
