Commit to be Fit 2020 has been cancelled due to COVID-19
This years Commit to be Fit Healthy Lifestyle Fair has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
One of our signature events is Commit to be Fit, a Healthy Lifestyle Fair for Yamhill County. We work with classes from Linfield College as well as McMinnville Parks & Recreation to host this fun weekend event. The SNACK Program helps kids and families practice healthy lifestyles. One of the ways we do this is by reducing families’ barriers to healthy activities – including fees for playing sports or exercise classes.
Commit to be Fit is a traditional health fair in that we bring together community health organizations and resources and offer free health screenings for participants — but we add to the energy of the day by inviting local fitness instructors and coaches to host short classes throughout the afternoon. Importantly – these offerings are all provided at no cost to folks who attend.
