#SNACKGiveAndGo5210

Thursday November 27th - December 31st

Welcome to our annual Give and Go Fundraiser! #SnackGiveAndGo5210 celebrates living each day to the healthiest.

This holiday season, we invite you to join our team and take part in our #SNACKGiveAndGo5210 campaign. Help SNACK raise money to support physical activity opportunities and cooking workshops for children in Yamhill County.

give-and-go: {.giv-ən-ˈgō } n.

A play in sports where one team member passes to a second, then moves forward down the court to receive the next pass. Together, they create an opportunity to score a goal.

What is 5-2-1-0?

5-2-1-0 is an important set of numbers in the healthy living curriculum we share with families. It's a tool created by the Let's Go program that our college mentors teach to kids in our program to help them remember important daily guidelines for healthy living:

5: Eat 5 servings of veggies and fruit

2: Keep daily screen time under 2 hours

1: Spend 1 hour or more getting physically active

0: Zero sugary beverages - choose water!

What does your contribution support?

Make SNACK Give And Go 5-2-1-0 extra special by donating $52.10 for healthy living.

Your generous contribution of $52.10:

-Feeds children, mentors, and family members at one of our monthly cooking workshops

-Supplies one child's pool passes for a month

-Provides supplies for a summer of run club

The Student Nutrition and Activity Clinic for Kids (SNACK Program) provides free exercise opportunities and nutrition education to children attending our nutrition education mentoring program. Children attending our core nutrition education mentoring earn opportunities to attend physical activity sessions and cooking workshops year round - and all at no cost to families.

#SNACKGiveAndGo5210 is part of #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (November 27, 2018).
