Katie Sours, MPH

SNACK Program Coordinator

Katie was hired in April of 2016 to continue the leadership of the SNACK Program. Katie is a 2010 graduate from Linfield College and a 2013 graduate from Boston University School of Public Health. Before starting with SNACK, she taught organic chemistry and physiology labs at Linfield.

Katie is passionate about connecting local people, ideas, and services supporting personal and community well-being in Yamhill County. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors in nature, doing yoga, cooking meals from scratch, and being with friends and family.

Shelby Sweet, BA

AmeriCorps VISTA Member

Shelby is the SNACK Program AmeriCorps VISTA Member for 2018-2019. Shelby is a recent graduate from Linfield College and has experience working closely with those in Yamhill County through her connection with the Community Service and Engagement Office at Linfield. She is joining us to work on community outreach and capacity building within the program. 


Shelby is passionate about communicating what's being done in the community and about establishing relationships and connections that generate positive change, ideas and influence. During her free time, she enjoys being around friends and family, traveling, reading and hiking.
